Dopo più di un anno di posticipi e di speculazioni, finalmente sembra che il nuovo cd dei Gialli, “Go Simpsonic With The Simpsons: More Original Music from the TV Series” , sia in uscita ufficiale il 19 Ottobre. Sèguito del fortunato album del 1997, "Songs in the key of Springfield", Go Simpsonic conterrà 56 tracce, con musiche sia dai nuovi episodi che dai più vecchi. Come bonus, verranno incluse delle tracce inedite, come "We love to smoke" cantata da Patty e Selma, e "The jolli Bengali" cantata da Apu.
Malgrado il disco sia stato per ben tre volte annunciato e poi rimandato, questa sembra veramente essere la volta buona, grazie anche ad un volantino promozionale distribuito nei negozi di musica e di libri statunitensi dalla Rhino Records. Oltre ai dettagli promozionali, il volantino contiene anche la lista completa delle canzoni, facendo trasparire che i vecchi problemi di licenze siano stati risolti.
In uscita per il 19 ottobre è anche prevista un'edizione per collezionisti di "Songs in the key of Springfield", con in omaggio un puzzle da 250 pezzi raffigurante l'immagine di copertina.
Il nuovo album è stato già aggiunto al database di CDNow (clicca qui per ordinarlo online).
